The T-Rex Voltage Doubler Adapter combines two compatible isolated power-supply outputs to provide a higher-voltage connection for pedals that require more than a single output can provide.

For example, two compatible 9V isolated outputs can be combined to supply 18V to a pedal designed to operate at 18V.

How It Works

Connect the two male barrel plugs to two isolated power-supply outputs, then connect your pedal’s normal power cable to the female connector.

The adapter combines the voltage from the two outputs.

Important: This Doubles Voltage, Not Current

The Voltage Doubler Adapter increases the available voltage by combining two isolated outputs.

It does not function like a Current Doubler.

For example:

9V + 9V = 18V

or

12V + 12V = 24V

The connected pedal must be specifically designed to accept the resulting voltage.

Do not use this adapter with two outputs that share a common electrical ground unless the power-supply manufacturer specifically confirms that configuration is appropriate.
