Built for Mixed Pedalboards

The Survival Kit is useful when your board includes pedals that require something other than a conventional center-negative 9V connection.

Depending on the pedal and power supply, the included cables can help you:

• Power pedals with alternate connector types
• Connect pedals designed for battery-clip power
• Reverse polarity where required
• Extend a power connection
• Combine isolated outputs for higher voltage
• Combine compatible isolated outputs for additional current

Voltage Doubler Adapter

The yellow adapter combines two compatible isolated power outputs to create a higher-voltage supply.

For example, two isolated 9V outputs can be combined for an 18V pedal when the power supply and pedal specifications permit it.

Current Doubler Adapter

The green adapter combines the available current from two compatible outputs while maintaining the same voltage.

This can be useful for higher-current pedals that need more current than one power-supply output can provide.

Polarity Inverter

The orange adapter reverses the polarity of a compatible DC power connection.

This is useful for pedals that require the opposite polarity from your standard pedalboard cable.

Always verify the pedal’s required polarity before connecting power.

A Useful Addition to the Pedalboard Case

Most of the time, a standard power cable is all you need.

The Survival Kit is for the exceptions.

Available current

Voltage- and current-doubling adapters should only be used with compatible isolated outputs and with pedals whose requirements are understood.
