The T-Rex Møller 2 takes a classic low-to-medium gain overdrive and gives you something unusually powerful: control over how much of your original clean guitar signal remains in the sound.

Turn up the gain for warm, expressive overdrive. Then use the Mix control to blend your clean tone back in, preserving attack, definition, and playing dynamics.

Add the independent clean boost, and Møller 2 becomes a remarkably flexible drive pedal for rhythm, lead, and always-on tone shaping.

The Overdrive That Breathes

Many overdrive pedals replace your clean sound with the sound of the drive circuit.

Møller 2 lets you decide how much of each you want.

The Mix control blends the overdriven signal with your original clean signal, letting you move from a fully driven tone to a more open, dynamic sound with clean attack around the edges.

That makes Møller 2 especially effective for players who want overdrive without losing the character of the guitar and amplifier underneath it.

From Edge of Breakup to Full Drive

Keep the gain restrained and Møller 2 adds just a little dirt around the edges.

Push it harder and the pedal moves into saturated, vintage-amp-style overdrive.

T-Rex describes the fully driven sound as approaching the character of a vintage tube amplifier being pushed at full volume, while reducing the Mix setting allows more of the clean signal and playing dynamics to come through.

Independent Clean Boost

Møller 2 also includes a separate clean boost providing up to 20 dB of additional level.

Use it to:

• lift solos above the band;
• push the front end of your amplifier;
• add level without adding more overdrive;
• boost another pedal downstream.

The boost operates independently, so it can be used whether the overdrive section is engaged or bypassed.

Bass Boost

The onboard Bass Boost switch adds low-end weight when you want a fuller, bigger drive sound.

It is especially useful when switching between guitars, amplifiers, or playing situations where the standard overdrive voice needs a little more body.

The Møller 2 version also uses a more durable Bass Boost toggle and improved control graphics compared with the original Møller.

The original Møller was created for Danish guitarist Knud Møller, and became one of T-Rex’s most sought-after overdrive pedals.
