Fuzztopia Fuzz & Distortion
Fuzz and Distortion. Separate or Together.
Two gain engines. Independent Blend controls. One compact pedal.
The T-Rex Fuzztopia brings two distinct gain voices together in one pedal: a vintage-inspired hybrid fuzz and a warm, classic distortion.
Use either side independently, or combine them for thicker, more complex gain textures.
Each section has its own controls for gain, tone, blend, and volume, giving you the freedom to build two very different sounds—or stack them into something much bigger.
Two Different Gain Voices
Fuzztopia is built around two complementary circuits.
Fuzz
The Fuzz side moves from subtle bite into full, saturated fuzz.
Use it for:
- vintage-inspired fuzz textures;
- thick rhythm sounds;
- sustaining leads;
- aggressive harmonic breakup;
- more experimental gain tones.
Distortion
The Distortion side provides a smoother, warmer gain voice with the focus and punch of a classic distortion pedal.
Use it on its own for a more controlled drive sound, or combine it with the Fuzz section when you want additional density and saturation.
Blend Your Clean Signal Back In
One of Fuzztopia’s most useful features is the dedicated Blend control on each section.
Instead of forcing your entire signal through the fuzz or distortion circuit, Blend lets you mix your original clean tone back into the sound.
That can preserve:
- pick attack;
- low-end definition;
- chord clarity;
- playing dynamics;
- the fundamental character of the guitar.
This is especially useful when heavier fuzz settings begin to obscure articulation.
And because both the Fuzz and Distortion sides have their own Blend control, you can determine independently how much clean signal remains in each sound.
Build Two Sounds
Each side of Fuzztopia gives you its own dedicated controls.
Fuzz Section
FUZZ
Controls the intensity and saturation of the fuzz circuit.
TONE
Shapes the brightness and character of the fuzz.
BLEND
Mixes the clean guitar signal with the fuzz signal.
VOLUME
Sets the output level of the Fuzz section.
Distortion Section
DISTORTION
Controls the amount of distortion.
TONE
Shapes the overall frequency balance.
BLEND
Mixes your clean signal with the distortion signal.
VOLUME
Sets the output level of the Distortion section.
Use Them Separately
Dedicated footswitches let you engage the Fuzz and Distortion sections independently.
That gives you three fundamental gain states from a single pedal:
Distortion only
Fuzz only
Fuzz + Distortion
So Fuzztopia can replace multiple individual gain pedals while keeping the control layout immediate and easy to understand.
Or Stack Them Together
Engage both sides and Fuzztopia becomes something larger.
The two gain engines can be stacked to create denser, more harmonically complex distortion and fuzz textures than either section produces alone.
A rear-panel Link function determines whether the effects operate independently or in the linked configuration, adding another layer of flexibility to how the two circuits interact.
From Subtle Bite to Saturated Fuzz
Fuzztopia is deliberately broad.
At restrained settings, the clean Blend controls let you add gain around the edges of the original guitar sound.
Push the gain and reduce the clean blend, and the pedal moves into much thicker distortion and fuzz territory.
That makes it useful for:
- Blues rock
- Classic rock
- Alternative
- Grunge
- Garage rock
- Psychedelic textures
- Heavy rhythm sounds
- Sustaining lead tones

Power Budget
9V DC / 60mA
Fuzztopia is easy to integrate into a conventional pedalboard power system.
FuelTank Classic
Fuzztopia uses:
60mA of the shared 500mA 9V budget
That leaves:
440mA remaining
for other compatible pedals.
✓ Compatible
FuelTank Junior
One isolated Junior output provides up to:
120mA
Fuzztopia requires:
60mA
✓ Compatible
FuelTank Chameleon
A standard 9V Chameleon output provides up to:
300mA
Fuzztopia requires:
60mA
✓ Compatible
Remember: the pedal only draws the current it needs.

Find Your Own Kind of Dirty
Sometimes you want distortion.
Sometimes you want fuzz.
Sometimes you want both.
Fuzztopia gives you two different gain engines, independent control over each one, and the ability to blend your clean signal back into both.
Build the sound. Blend the attack. Stack the dirt.
